Launched in 1984 and manufactured by Swedish Match, Catch White Eucalyptus portion snus is classified as a White type portion meaning that the portions don’t go thru the final step in the manufacturing process that adds a little more moisture to each portion before they get packaged in the can. Omitting this step leaves the portion white in color and a bit dryer than a regular type portion but Swedish Match uses the same soft portion material in Catch White Eucalyptus as they do in most all their snus and is comfortable in the lip for over 2 hours. Each can of Catch White Eucalyptus contains 24, one gram portions with 8 mg of Nicotine each. The can is made of grey plastic with metallic flakes embedded in it to give the can a stylish look with the used portion compartment in the lid but, enough about the can. After trying a number of other mint snus brands, this one is the only one I actually really enjoy. Don't expect an after dinner mint flavor if you're used to the US Camel Frost or General Dry Mint. This one is much more exotic, and by far a more clean flavor without the strange sweetness. I've heard of some users getting an unbearable burning sensation, though I've never had this problem personally. Though I will say that after about twenty minutes, it can get really slimy. If you can deal with the somewhat gross texture, it a good refresher when you're in the mood for something different.

I had received this in a try out box I had ordered. Being new to snus, I wasn't convinced that I would like a snus with flavoring since I tend to like more of a tobacco taste. This was one of the last of my selection that I opened and was very surprised at how much I ended up enjoying it. Very different and yet not overly powerful. A very light type of snus flavoring that enhanced the experience. This is great for a change of pace and is one that won't go unfinished and end up in the garbage.

Not a fan. The aroma does not appeal to me (I imagine some sort of sports rub for some reason) and the flavor, to me, tastes more menthol than anything else. By menthol, I mean as if I had just EATEN a menthol cigarette.
I also tried the dry version of this, and it seemed a little better. Perhaps the slower release of flavor kept me from being overwhelmed.

Really liked this one. Compared to the Genereal Wintergreen, this actually still tasted like snus to me. Very subtle eucalyptus flavor. Nice change of pace snus.

I am pretty new to Snus and have not been able to try to many yet.
my first order consisted of Gotenborgs Rape and the energy snus.
This came in my second order along with 3 others. This Snus was the first one done from my second order I liked it a lot. The sweet taste and long lasting flavor kinda won me over. This is the first Snus i have ordered a 2nd can of.
How ever i am still in my trying different snus's stage. And have 7 more kinds coming in this last order including the oh so popular general which i have not tried yet.
But right now i would say i'm sure this will be a regular snus i order.

The menthol touch is really great, the other day I tried this out with my friends and we all loved it. It's also not very disturbing when this one starts leaking. Still, I have to admit that for users like me who have been snusing for 10 years or so, the nicotine kick ought to be harder. But that's only my opinion and i generally recommend it to people who are new to snusing.

Of the milder snus, this is one of the best-tasting. The flavor is more menthol and than eucalyptus in my opinion, but that herbal flavor is still there. The portions last a long time and do not drip that much, making them good for beginners. The can is attractive, too. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in a sterk portion. If it did I would buy that every time.

This was my first experience with real Swedish snus. I had just tried Camel Frost and liked the minty flavor, so I wanted something that might taste similar. While not as minty, this "real deal" snus is head and shoulders above the Camel knock off. A little salty, but after a good 40 minutes the flavor was great and the hit kept going. I'll definitely keep these around to freshen my breath with a good nicotine kick.

I'd heard people saying that the flavor was pretty bad on these. A can came in my "try out box", so I gave it a try. I gotta say, I like it. The tobacco flavor is kinda subdued, compared with the limited flavors I'd tried, but I think I will put this in my regular rotation. I used this at work today, and was at first a bit put off by the taste, but it really grew on me. I think I'll have to give this a 4/5 on then can, (style is always important), 4/5 on the taste. Room for improvement, but not too much.

My first Swedish snus!
I, like many Americans, had their first snus experience with Camel Snus, Frost in particular.
Catch White Eucalyptus is quite minty, tastes of eucalyptus as the name suggests. It's not overpowering or anything, but it'll definitely freshen-up one's breath. I taste zero tobacco (which is neither a pro or con for me), so if one does not like tobacco flavor or simply likes minty things I'd def. recommend this.
Good nicotine delivery, nice longevity. Good snus all around. I don't regret having this as my first real snus at all, and will likely order more in the future after having done some other taste tests.

This is my wife's #1. She likes the eucalypus flavor and it is pretty light. For me however, its a little too light on the tobacco flavor and I really do not like eucalyptus. I don't like the smell or the flavor. I gave it a try a few times but its just not my deal.

I really like this snus. It has a nice fresh herbal eucalyptus flavor. Has a nice cooling effect, but doesn't have a strong minty taste like the peppermint or wintergreen, which makes a nice change from the usual mint flavors. Not too salty, but quite refreshing

My girlfriend loves it, and that's saying a lot. I've never much cared for menthol/mint cigarettes or snus, but Catch seems to taste like a great alternative to a piece of winterfresh gum. Great after a light meal or if you're feeling like a change of pace.

Wonderful stuff! Yes, it is a non-traditional taste - definitely not a heavy tobacco flavor. On the other hand, I find the overall flavor lasting much longer than others I have tried. I reorder this variety more than others simply because it has a very pleasant, clean and refreshing taste and feel to it. Very nice!

When I started using snus I was a smoker trying to quit. I tried a lot of brands and this one became my regular. The tobacco taste is hardly noticeable but the Eucalyptus is strong and there is a hint of mint too. It has enough nic to help the cigarette jones too. At one time i would walked a mile for a Catch White Eucalyptus Portion

This is a great snus with a very smooth flavor. One of my favorites. The neither the citrus or mint flavors are overpowering, and there is little taste of the tobacco, which is fine for my tastes.

Refreshing is the best word to describe this snus. I also used to smoke menthols so I do appreciate the flavour. For me, it is good for a change once in a while but there is not a strong enough tobacco taste to use regularly. Having said that, it is a really good mint taste, so if that's what your are looking for ... than this is your snus

This snus is cool, refreshing and is a nice change when you want something different.
I dont find the eucalyptus overpowering, and I like the mouthfeel of this product.
I always have a few cans of this stashed away in the freezer. I love this snus, it reminds me of hot summer days down on the sea front.

The Eucalyptus flavor is quite strong. Fortunately it is a good flavor! I'm making the move from menthol cigarettes to snus and I think this is a good snus for that.

Being a former menthol cigarette smoker I find the this a thoroughly enjoyable snus for me. If you are looking for a rich tobacco taste, look elsewhere. But for something different and flavourful, this snus has to be a consideration.

Has a nice minty fresh flavor that lasts a while. Only downside is, for some reason, the portion forms a slime on it that I don't get with other portions. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a strongly flavored snus without too much tobacco undertone, I highly reccommend this. Very fresh and minty in the mouth with minimal running. A GREAT starter snus especially for those coming from menthol cigarettes.

Catch is a snus brand which Swedish Match describe as having a 'non-traditional' flavour. There's a few different flavours out there but this one is the only one I've tried - by virtue of its being part of a try-out box I purchased once.
There's a strong Eucalyptus flavour - which is only to be expected - and not much room left for any tobacco taste. And it does give you a fresh feeling in your mouth.
It's nice. That's all I can say, really. It's just not that special - not really my thing. I suppose if you love the flavour of Eucalyptus or don't like more "traditional" tasting snus, then it's almost certainly worth picking some up.

I love the flavor of this snus, the best white portion snus by far. Flavor lasts a long time. Good tobacco flavor with a cool twist. This is the only portion snus I use now
