Introduced in 2009 by Swedish Match AB, General Dry White Mini Mint portion snus is classified as a White Mini type portion which means that the portions are half the size of a regular type portion and, do not go thru the additional step at the end of the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to each portion. This leaves the material a bit dry and leaves the color white. Even though the material is dry, Swedish Match uses the same soft material that they use in all their portion snus and is comfortable in the lip for over an hour but, the flavor only lasts for about 45 minutes. Each can of General Mini Mint contains 24 portions that have just less than .4 grams of snus and each portion has 4 mg of Nicotine. General Mini Mint’s can is made of silver metallic plastic and is a bit smaller than a regular can of snus. There is a used portion compartment in the lid as well but, you’re here for the flavors so, let’s take a look!
General Dry Mini Mint’s flavor may ring a bell with some seasoned snus users since it’s actually Catch Dry peppermint’s flavor with a new name! To the new snus user, we’ll try to describe the flavor for you. General Mini Mint’s flavor is a cool, peppermint taste. It’s actually a bit sweeter than most Swedish snus and tastes like Starlight mints but not as sweet. There is a slight burn in the lip with Mini Mint but, most mint flavored snus has this characteristic and only lasts for about 20 minutes. As the portion sits in the lip, a subtle earthy tobacco flavor begins to surface and mellows the sweetness out. We’ve had a portion of Mini Mint’s flavor last for about 45 minutes which is pretty good considering it’s only a mini portion but, this is what we think, we want to hear your thoughts!

This is my first experience with real Swedish snus. I found it very enjoyable, and the mint flavor not overpowering. There is an abundant aroma when you first open the can that I liked. It has a nice little kick for a mini, plus I like how discreet it is also. I will definitely keep this in rotation.

terrible, but if like like camel snus, then this is right up your alley. i have a lot of friends who dig this stuff, but me....not for me, i like the real deal -this is not....
if you want a change up, i could see this being a once in a while alternative, moka mint is a much better quality snus, with just a hint of mint, now thats a good snus!

General Dry Mini Mint is much better than I could have imagined. The scent is a bit overpowering in the tin. Individually though, the smell is solid peppermint. I would have preferred spearmint, but I will settle as there are so many other things that are exceptional about the product.
Slipping one into my upper lip gave me an unbelievable rush. Coming off a few weeks use of Camel's rough pouches, the smooth texture of these pouches was a godsend. My gums were relieved. Nevermind the fact that is was incredibly discreet and could be hidden from anyone who doesn't know you have it in. The flavor doesn't burst into your mouth like Camel Frost, but creeps onto your tastebuds. I loved the flavor more than expected. There was definitely a sugary taste (General has no sugar in it), but it didn't overpower its purpose. When it came to the nicotine hit, I was in for quite a shock. I'm a relatively new snus user and the low-level nicotine works for me. The General offered a very solid amount for its size, assuredly more than Camel's offerings. Another contrast from the Camel was its consistent, slow, methodical delivery of the nicotine as well as the flavor. The nic kick lasted unforgettably long and the flavor was still pumping on some degree after an hour and a half.
I personally love this snus and would suggest it to anyone, especially smokers looking to quit as it is not overpowering on any level. It is just great stuff and I'm so happy I tried it.

Great if you like mint flavor and is far better than camel frost.Down side is the small portions which make the nic kick a bit weak. Wish they made regular or maxi portions of this stuff, as it stands i need to do three portions at a time to get desired nic kick.

Wow, strong peppermint flavor without the sweetness of gums and breath fresheners. It's a perfect freshener with a nicotine boost. Going into regular rotation.

I am a new snus user (trying to quit smoking) and started off with the Camel Snus. This is one of the first Swedish snus I've tried, and it's really good. The minty flavor is fresh, and not at all over-sweet.

One of the best mints I have tried out of all the snus's and dips. I would prefer they made loose and maxi portions instead. But great nonetheless.

I received a coupon for a free tin of Camel Frost. Since I like Spearmint, though I'd give it a shot. It's like Spearmint chewing gum! Then I tried the General dry mint mini... it beats the Camel Frost hands down. Just the right portion, flavor and taste. I think Camel is trying to aim their product towards kids and candy lovers. If you like mint flavor in a small portion, then this is the product for you.

Good stuff! Tried it all from Skruf to Camel and this is the one that I consistently go back to time after time! Glad to see it's shipped from the US! All the better!

For fans of Camel Frost, I highly suggest switching over to this. It's better in every category, except for maybe packaging, but really, as long as it stays fresh who really cares? Not too sweet, better mint taste, less expensive, better nicotine hit, and easier to conceal in your mouth.

Not my kinda snus, but nevertheless this is an excellent flavor, balanced mint that is long lasting and crisp. Superior alternative to Camel Frost. Superior by far. If you loved/hated the Camel Frost stuff, try this and enjoy. 4 stars cuz I don't really dig the minty stuff

This by far is the best snus I have bought to so far! If you have tried Camel Frost but thought it was too sweet, this is perfect! Not to sweet, just the right blend of mint.

Love it love it love it! The tobacco taste shines through nicely with a smooth, sweet peppermint flavor. Keeps my mouth feeling fresh, and the smaller pouches are good when I'm trying to be very discreet. Flavor lasts a LONG time. excellent product.

General Dry Mint has a nice refreshing taste to it. The original General taste is still there though under the peppermint. This snus will probably end up in my regular rotation. I hope that soon General will make this portion into a regular white portion, I'm not a big fan of the mini white portions. 4 out of 5 stars.

I like this for a change up. Nice clean mint taste and the perfect thing to offer someone that has never tried Snus.
Keep some on had to freshen your breath.
