Gotlandssnus Fläder, or Green as we call it, is another snus that’s made by the folks at Gotlandssnus AB on the island of Gotland in Sweden. Gotland’s green is classified as a regular type snus which means that the portions go thru an additional step in the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to the portion to aid in the flavors coming together and the taste to come out faster. Each can of Gotland’s Green has 24, one gram portions with each having 9 mg of Nicotine. The portion material Gotlandssnus uses for Green is the same soft, teabag type that they use in all their snus and is pretty comfortable in the lip for about 2 hours. Gotlandssnus also uses Alida tobacco, among others, in Gotland’s Green that is grown on the island!
Gotlandssnus Green’s can is the same gray plastic can that Gotlandssnus uses for all their Gotlandssnus brands with a lid that snaps closed to keep it closed when in your pocket or bag and does not have a used portion compartment in the lid but, we know you’re not here or a can review so, let’s go to the flavors!
Gotlandssnus Green’s flavor is actually quite unique! Gotlandssnus describes Green to have a flavor of lush green plants and a hint of Elderflower. What we taste is a light tobacco flavor with herbal elements, which is the Alida tobacco, and a green apple/berry type of taste which is what Elderflower tastes like. Overall, when all the flavors are combined with the salty and herbal elements, they make the flavor of Gotlandssnus Green pretty complex and enjoyable but, we want you to decide!

Fantastic! Love this product. Like many other American snusers, I started on Camel frost & mellow.... i thought I liked those strong sweet flavors, so I ordered the brands that were described as being "fruity". I was initially very disappointed, because the fruit flavors were SO subtle.
However, after working my way into the various cans I ordered, I am LOVING THEM! I tried the Camel stuff again, and find it disgustingly sweet, with not enough tobacco flavor or nicotine kick!
For other beginners, the "original" portion (not white) products like Gotland Green and Jakobson's Ice fruit have a nice kick, tobacco flavor, and "hint" of fruitiness (which is what I discovered I really wanted all along, not a strong fruitiness).
Gotland Green stands out with it's fresh green... sotimes apple, sometimes herbal flavor. Hard to describe, but perfect! The underlying tobacco flavor is very similar to General, and is delicious!
Some of the whites: Roda Lacket, Goteborg's Rape #2, are also very nice, a little milder in flavor.
The ONLY products I'm disappointed by are the flavored Offroads and Thunders... they just don't taste natural enough.
As a quitting smoker, I'm finding i need more nicotine, so I have a shipment of various "strongs" on the way...But-- Roda Lacket, Goteborgs Rape #2, Jakobson's Ice Fruit, and Gotland Green will always be in my orders, and will always be around me: they are all so good that I couldn't imagine not being able to grab one at any time during the day.

This was the first Gotland brand I ordered. I have since to taste anything like it, short of other Gotland brands. I'm not exactly sure what elderberry is, but I compare it to sort of a mix between the way a freshly cut lawn smells, and citrus. I'm always sure to order it from time to time.

Gotlandssnus Green is a pretty decent snus with an interesting flavor. I recommend everyone try it at least once. Here's my thoughts.
Taste - I can't put my finger quite on what this tastes like, however if colors had a taste this would be the taste of green. It has sort of a granny smith apple taste, but has other qualities with the salt element blending them together. It is balanced and lasts a long time.
Nicotine - It is on par with other original portions. The onset is slow, builds to a peak and tapers down after removal.
Mouth Feel - The portions feel just like other originals. There's little burn, it feels comfortable and does not irritate the gums or drip.
The Verdict - I want to keep at least a can or two of this around for something to alternate my other regulars with. It is a unique snus that works well. I rate it a 4 out of 5.

This Snus is very good. I love the green taste remineds me of when i was a kid and would put a long piece of hay or grass in my mouth and enjoy the flavor.

Wonderfull! Possibly the best flavored snus I've ever had. The flavor is strong and smooth at the same time. Lasts for a good while too. If this came in lös, I'd be in heaven.

One of my absolute favorites. Wonderfully smooth. Still a strong tobacco flavor (of really good tobacco, mind you) but with a really nice fresh green taste that isn't minty or menthol at all (I can't stand the taste of menthol so this is a plus for me). Someone else described it as having a touch of green apple which is right on.

Gotland Green is a really good flavored snus and actually reminds me of a sour green apple, just more mild and kind of sweet. Whatever method Gotlandsnus uses to make their snus is incredible. This is excellent snus, and I will certainly be ordering more in the future. You won't go wrong trying a Gotlandsnus, it is excellent. Can't wait to try the Gray!!! An A+ for this snus as well.

This one is very tasty and different. It is light and refreshing, like an herbal tea and a green apple with salt on it. It might not be for everyone, but highly recommend you try it. Goes well with Red Zinger or Diet Mountain Dew

I'm really enjoying this right now. I was pretty sure I would be put off by the flavor, since I'm not a big Goteborg Rape fan, so this is a nice surprise. The flowery taste isn't overpowering at all. Between this and the yellow, I'm becoming a big Gotlandssnus fan.

Wow, Gotland Green is absolutly delicious. I really enjoy the flavor of this snus, it kinda tastes like it has an apple flavor to it, its also very smooth and lasts a long time. I am going to be keeping this one in constant supply.
