Gotlands Original is pretty unique in a couple of ways. First, Gotlandssnus uses tobacco from all around the world along with Alida tobacco that is grown on the island of Gotland. This tobacco gives Gotlands Original a unique taste that can only be found in Gotlandssnus. Gotlands Original is an Anise flavored snus which has the flavor of Black Licorice but, when the strong flavor of licorice is combined with the hint of herbs and the herbal, earthy flavor of the tobacco, it imparts a slight sweetness that we feel makes for a great snus but, we’d like you to tell us what you taste!

A really unique flavor, and smell. Both are fantastic. I haven't tried a licorice snus yet, but if they all taste like this, I might have to consider it.

I hate licorice, and figured I'd hate this snus, but I adore it. I'm starting to think Gotlandssnus can do no wrong. Love the portion material.

One of my favorites.
I wish I could describe this taste better. Some undertones of licorice, but not much. It's just the overall flavor I have a hard time describing. Something I never tasted before.
I have to say the first time I tried it I thought I didn't like it. The longer I kept it in though the more I got used to it and the better it tasted.
