Made by the folks at V2 Tobacco in Silkeborg, Denmark, Offroad Cranberry portion snus is classified as a regular type portion which means that each one goes thru a final step in the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to each portion that helps the flavors meld together in the can and release the flavor faster in the lip. The material that V2 uses for Offroad Cranberry is the same teabag material that they use in all their portion snus and is comfortable in the lip for over an hour and a half. Each can of Offroad Cranberry contains 24, one gram portions with each having 8 mg of Nicotine. The can is made of black plastic but unfortunately, does not have a used portion compartment in the lid but, you’re here for the flavors so, let’s talk about Offroad Cranberry’s flavor!
V2 describes Offroad Cranberry’s flavor as a snus with a mild tobacco flavor and the taste of cranberries. What we taste is a predominant cranberry flavor with hints of mild tobacco and salt but the cranberry flavor is what we want to explain. Most Swedish snus brands that have a cranberry flavor to Americans, is actually Lingonberry which has a flavor that closely resembles cranberries. Offroad Cranberry, on the other hand, has the flavor of cranberries! The flavor is really close to cranberry juice including the subtle sweetness that most cranberry juice has. While the cranberry does take center stage in Offroad Cranberry, the tobacco and salt combine with the cranberry flavor to combine a really unique flavor that’s typical of V2. We feel that Offroad Cranberry is a great snus for those new to snus and seasoned snus users alike but, we want to hear what you think!
