Made by V2 Tobacco in Silkeborg, Denmark, Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen was created with American tastes in mind. Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen is a Long Cut type loose snus which means that, unlike regular loose, the tobacco is shredded, not ground and has the look and mouth feel of American Smokeless products. Each can of Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen has about 40 grams of snus and 8 mg of Nicotine per gram. Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen’s feel in the mouth is pretty comfortable due to the cut of the snus and the moisture content. The use of a tool to make a prilla is not recommended with Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen because of the cut of the tobacco being larger than standard snus so, we recommend either hand baking or pinching for the best method. The can is made of black plastic, both top and bottom and created a pretty good seal to prevent accidental opening when in your pocket. So, now that you know the basics, let’s move on to the taste!

In fact, Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen’s flavor is very close to the flavor of the American Smokeless brand Skoal Wintergreen. The Wintergreen flavor is very pronounced in Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen but, there is a hint of tobacco flavor in the background. For those of you who really haven’t tasted Wintergreen flavored snus think Lifesaver’s Wint-o-green candy! The flavor is almost exact right down to the burn in the lip that Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen has. Overall, Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen is a great flavored snus with a flavor that lasts for about 2 hours. We think that it would be the perfect replacement for people that are looking to transition from their Wintergreen flavored American smokeless to real Swedish snus while keeping the flavor they like but, this is our opinion, we’d like to hear yours!
