Offroad American Wintergreen portion snus, made by V2 Tobacco in Silkeborg, Denmark, is a regular portion snus which means that each portion goes thru an additional step in the manufacturing process that adds a bit more moisture to the portion which helps the flavors in the snus marry better and release the flavor faster once it’s in your lip. The portion material that V2 uses in Offroad American Wintergreen is the same teabag type material that they use in all their portion snus and remains pretty comfortable in the lip for about an hour and a half. Each can of Offroad American Wintergreen has 24 portions that are one gram each with 8 mg of Nicotine per portion. Offroad American Wintergreen’s can is made of black plastic with a plastic label and unfortunately, there is no used portion compartment in the lid. But, we know you’re here to find out what Offroad American Wintergreen tastes like!
Offroad American Wintergreen portion snus is a very unique snus in the fact that its Wintergreen flavor was specifically created to mirror the taste of American smokeless tobacco’s Wintergreen flavor and really hit the nail on the head! Offroad American Wintergreen’s flavor has a flavor that is really close to Skoal Wintergreen but, we realize that not everyone knows what Skoal Wintergreen tastes like so, in order to educate everyone, Offroad American Wintergreen has a taste that’s like a Wintergreen Life Saver, just not as sweet, with a hint of pure tobacco flavor. What we didn’t taste was the salt. Overall, if you’re looking for a Swedish snus with an American taste, Offroad American Wintergreen portion snus, by V2 Tobacco, is the one.
We’d like to know what you think about Offroad American Wintergreen so, be sure to leave a review of your own!

I recently tried snus for the first time when I got a free sample of Camel Snus with another purchase. The Camel brand was way to sweet for me but a guy told me about the Northerner site and now I'm hooked. I originally was a pack a day smoker who started using Skoal Longcut Wintergreen to quit the smoking habit, anyone who has tried this knows how that turns out! After turning into a can a day dipper for the last eight years I'm thrilled to find something to get me off that addiction. I have been on the snus for about 3 weeks now and I have myself convinced it is a better habit than the other two. All that being said, Offroad Wintergreen seems to be my favorite yet. I ordered 10 cans of Offroad along with some stark portions and some General wintergreen. Offroad seems more comparable in taste to some of the cheaper U.S. wintergreens which I hate but for some reason this one does the trick. Price of two dollars a can compared to what I was paying is a huge bonus. Great product. It's nice to not carry around spit cups anymore and the withdrawl has been minimal. I do seem to be a little on edge at times but hopefully that will fade over time. Great web site and I hope I can stick with Snus until time to really quit!

Nothing really to write home about, it just tastes like subdued American wintergreen dip but way way down on the sweetness scale, with the typical snus saltiness. I did experience what I believe to be a non-nicotine related burning sensation with the first one I popped in, but it wasn't too bad. The taste could have lasted longer, but it's decent for what it is, and it's great for introducing dippers to the wonderful world of snus.

I enjoyed this Wintergreen as it didn't come on too strong or medicinal like Wintergreen can have a tendency to do. I have tried the General Wintergreen and liked this Wintergreen better. I would like to see the portion material get better to improve the overall experience but if you like Wintergreen, you will like this.

I am American, and it does taste exactly like the American wintergreen tobaccos. It's great.

This snus tastes exactly as described. If you have ever tried "American" style wintergreen chewing tobacco then you know exactly what this tastes like. I found that the flavor ran out a bit too quick for my liking though. If you are coming from American moist snuff you should give this one a try.
