Retro White portion snus is another snus made by Fiedler and Lundgren. Retro White is classified as a White type portion because it does not go thru the additional step that adds more moisture to the portion prior to packaging. By omitting this step, the portion material is dryer than a regular type portion but the flavor lasts longer! The portion material Fiedler and Lundgren uses on Retro White is the same, teabag like, material that is used in most of their portion snus and is comfortable under the lip for about 2 hours. Each can of Retro White has 24 portions that are just less than 1 gram a piece, with each having 8 mg of Nicotine. Retro White’s can is made of black plastic with beveled edges on the top and bottom that gives it a modernistic look and feel. The label sits over the top and bottom sides which create a pretty good seal to keep the snus inside fresh until you open it! Retro White’s can also has a used portion compartment in the lid but, let’s take a look at the taste!
Fiedler and Lundgren describes Retro White’s flavor as having a mild tobacco fragrance with the taste of Rose oil. We, on the other hand, taste the exact opposite! Retro White’s flavor is purely a great mix of tobacco with a peppery note and salt. The smell is also a mix of finer tobaccos with a light, flowery scent in the background which, when in the lip, can be sensed as well. There is also a hint of sweetness that can be attributed to the Rose oil as well. For those that don’t know what Rose oil tastes like, or is for that matter, it’s basically an extract from Rose petals. It produces a light Rose scent with a flowery sweetness and is used quite a bit in snus as well as in the culinary arts!
So we hope you’ll give Retro White portion snus a try in your next order and encourage you to tell us what you think by leaving your own review! We’ll look forward to reading your opinion!
