What can I say, it's another Swedish Match winner. The first thing I noticed was that the tobacco flavor was very mild, nothing harsh or bitter. Light salt content, so those that don't like the salt would probably enjoy this. I get the same fruity undertones in the lossnus that I do with roda lacket portions, only much lighter. This would be a great "starter" lossnus for someone wanting to try los for the first time. This snus is finely ground, and would hand bake easily and works very well with the pris master or Icetool. By far one of my favorite snus flavors.

Great taste , not as harsh as general. Easy to bake and great for beginners. My preferred at-home snus.

I really enjoyed this one, and it competes for my top pick with Ettan lös. It has a very nice clay like consistency that makes it very easy to bake by hand, and holds together even better with a Prismaster or Icetool. The flavor has a hint of sweetness that reminds me of dried figs, raisins, and dates. Depending on how tightly you form a pris the taste can be very subtle or much stronger. Either way it's quite enjoyable.

Perfect all day lös snus. Mild, sweet but not too sweet, salty but not too salty, with just the right amount of fruit flavor. Very easy to hand bake, but a little messy because of the fine grind. I have not had a problem with mud mouth with this snus.

I like this one a lot.

Good stuff. Takes a while to get going, and by the time it does, it's already starting to fall apart. But while it lasts it's a nice fruity (but not overpowering) flavor.

This was one of my first lös as I was told it was easy to hand bake and what I was told was true. It has a great clay like consistency that makes it easy to form to the perfect Pris for new lös users. The dried fruit flavors reminiscent of figs, dates or raisins gives this a nice sweetness and mildness to the tobacco to also make it easier for first time snus users. I also believe this is more than 8mg/gram and more like 10mg/gram in the nicotine department so its a nice stepping stone to some of the stronger snus as well.

If you like the portions you'll love the loose. It has a perfect combo of sweet and salty. Easy to handbake, and holds together well.

I like the clay texture that makes it easy to roll. Not much flavor until a good 30 minutes into the snus though. I would not recommend this snus if you like flavor.
- Ekampz, 03/10/2009 14:55:21

It's a lovely snus - the fruitiness gives it a little sweetness and I'm glad it's now being described as dried fruit flavoured rather than strawberry as it's always made me think of raisins. It's very very easy to bake up in to a pris by hand due to it's fine grind - but the down side of that is that it tends to run to a muddy mess a bit quicker than the others.
- squeezyjohn, 02/25/2009 00:52:02 Röda Lacket Loose is a good fine ground snus and kind of sweet but salty. I don't think there is another snus quite like it. The fineness of the grind makes it hard to handle. If you like loose then you owe it to yourself to try a couple of cans.

Rodal Lacket loose (and portion) is my favorite taste in snus. their Claq Qui combines that taste with nicoteine potency.

R L the best of the best if you like a little fruit flavor in your snus very unique and enjoyable used to use ettan but the roda is the sh*t... your friend in California Stew
