Skruf Original White portion snus is another fine snus manufactured by the folks at Skruf AB and one of the newest in the Skruf family of snus. Introduced in early 2009, Skruf Original White is classified as a White type portion meaning that the portions do not go thru the final process of adding additional moisture prior to packaging. The material that Skruf used for Original White is the same soft teabag type they use in all their portion snus which is very comfortable under the lip and remains comfortable for over an hour and a half! Each can of Skruf Original White has 24, one gram portions with each having 9 mg of Nicotine. Original White also comes in the signature white plastic can that Skruf uses for all its snus and has the used portion compartment in the lid. Even though a small few do buy snus for the can, most buy for the flavors so, let’s go on to that!
Skruf describes Original White’s flavor as having a pure yet mild tobacco taste with flavors of bergamot and Rose oil. While this is a very accurate description if you know what Rose oil tastes like or just exactly what a bergamot tastes like, most people don’t so, we’re going to describe it in flavors we do know! Skruf Original White does indeed have a mild tobacco flavor that is predominant. The bergamot flavor is a flavor that’s a cross between a lemon and a grapefruit. The Rose oil adds a flowery or herbal scent both in the can and in your mouth. All of these together, along with a hint of pepper and salt, create a lightly flavored snus that’s perfect for beginners and seasoned snus users alike but, we want you to be the judge!

This is my favorite full size portion. I tried General first and then Skruf and Skruf is by far my favorite without a doubt. It smells good and taste great and lasts long. I'll be getting this stuff regularly.

I am trying to quit smoking and decided to try Swedish snus after viewing the videos from Svandal(Confessions of a former smoker, quite smoking with snus 1-4) on YouTube. I tried the readily available USA version(Camel Frost snus) and although I liked the taste alot it didn't have the nicotine kick I wanted/needed. So I tried a few different varieties from Northerner. SKRUF Original White was one of them. Again did not like SKRUF at all and didn't even finish the can. Cool can...crappy snus. To harsh and salty for my taste.

Skruf has bar none the best white portion material of any snus out there. This snus has a great bermamot, rose oil and tobacco flavor that is perfect blend, even more so than Knox. It's definitely a must buy, and one of my new favorites.

I'm a fan of Skruf Stark portion, so I expected this to be the same thing, only lighter. I was a bit disappointed. The Skruf flavor is similar, and it definitely is mild and comes on slowly, but the portions do not last very long and they have an unpleasant, bitter aftertaste. This is only a problem if you expect to leave them in for more than about twenty minutes.
On the plus side, the portions are very soft and easy on the gums. The packaging is just as cool as the other Skruf snus. And the nicotine level is exactly what you'd expect for a standard white portion. The price is good, too.

Skruf original white was one of the first portions I tried. It has a nice aroma to it and the flavor is very pleasing, not too strong. I gave this snus a 4 out of 5 stars, you really can't go wrong with it. The portion material was nice and soft and I was able to use it over and over in the same spot without it wearing on my mouth. I recommend this to anyone to try at least once.

I'm a real fan of the flavour of Skruf's original portions, but I've always been more of a white portion person; so imagine my delight when I first heard of the new Skruf White portions.
The can is just like a Skruf original, but with "Skruf original white" written on the ashtray lid instead of the embossed version the originals come with. Skruf make a feature of their white cans in a world of black and grey ones - and it is one of my favourites.
The snus itself is very much what you might hope for, if you like the originals. A good flavour of bergamot and rose oil alongside the nice tobacco taste - you'll find the flavour is a little more subdued than the original portion counterpart and comes on slower, but that's all good as far as I'm concerned.
The portions are white portions much like you'll find from any other brand, although the portion material seems a little softer. If you're the sort of person who doesn't like white portions, it may still be worth trying these out.
Skruf portions are something some people have been wanting for a while and Skruf are known for the quality of their products, so these portions had a lot to live up to. It's a credit to Skruf that they seem to have pulled it off in every category.
